Three Crushing Outdoor Workouts

People have become accustomed to using tools for efficiency. Knives and forks are great, but I have hands and teeth that do a pretty kick ass job as well. Same goes with fitness.

Yes, having a Kettlebell is awesome and will wreck your muscles when utilized correctly, but it’s 100% not mandatory! You think Navy Seals stop training when they are deployed on a mission for weeks at a time? Hell no!

Their lives depend on being fast, strong and ready to fight. They run, squat, pick up heavy objects, throw things. Anything to keep those muscles ready to go! You might not be a SEAL, but if you travel a lot for work, that’s no excuse to let your health fall apart.

Here are three crushing outdoor workouts to keep you sweaty and on track!

Burpee Run “Fun”

  • 25 – Burpees (chest to ground, hands over head, 6” jump minimum)
  • 400m Run
  • 20 – Burpees
  • 400m Run
  • 15 – Burpees
  • 400m Run
  • 10 – Burpees
  • 400m Run
  • 5 Burpees

The Miserable Mile

4 rounds of 100m of the following 4 exercises:

  • Bear Crawl
  • Walking Lunges
  • Burpee Broad Jumps
  • Inchworm Pushups

*the only forward movement is with the exercise, no walking.

Masochism On Tap

Let’s push your mental fortitude. You better like “the push” for this one.

3min on/1 min off, MAXIMUM reps of the following. Total quality reps is your score.

  • Burpees
  • Squat Jumps
  • Sprawls
  • Pushups
  • Sprawls
  • Squat Jumps
  • Burpees
